| 1197851 | 2011-04-28 04:34:00 | What about Intel and Nvidia graphics (i.e. Optimus)? :D Nope. I don't like such gimmickry and even if I did it's not supported under linux. |

| 1197859 | 2011-04-28 07:35:00 | www.xbitlabs.com st_Performing_Notebook.html 4 KG? Pah. Yes just built one of these here (www.reprap.org) It's open-source as well, isn't it? I'd expect a laptop to be able to do everything a desktop can do, with the exception of 3d games. Not interested in weight, a steal beam is heavy, a bag of cement is able to be carried with no drama, laptops aren't heavy. If you cant handle 2kg then you're a pussy. Right on, M Man! :clap |

| 1197860 | 2011-04-28 09:19:00 | I prefer a mobile powerhouse. I agree there's no point in having 8Gb of RAM for taking notes, but it might help when juggling 3 VM's and running apache and mysql, while transcoding video. That's the point of variety, there's no single laptop that will cover all bases for all people. Some people only need a netbook, others like a full i7 tower, crammed into a laptop size. |
