Even last months stats still have it as the most used OS :)

March 2011 - OS Platform Statistics

Windows XP is the most popular operating system. The Windows family counts for almost 90%

1197066 2011-04-26 03:41:00 yes, I read that already

so?

I didn't say there was anything wrong with win7, or that XP would remain the most popular forever and ever.

You are the one saying XP is (now) crap and no one in their right mind would still use it or something, both in this thread and many many others you have posted the same old "xp is old and should be replaced" bla bla

I am simply bringing your attention to the fact that many millions of people and corporate users STILL use XP and will do for quite some time yet - and when win7 passes XP in popularity (as it rightly should), we will still see XP usage next to it far above any other OS for the next few years at least I bet.

I never inferred that :stare:

Yep... personally I don't see the point in using something "old and fail" when something newer and far better exists :p (but each to their own I guess)

I'm well aware of that; plus my high school only upgraded to XP a year after Vista came out.

1197071 2011-04-26 04:05:00 The only reason I have XP on my secondary PC is because it runs on 512MB Ram and 7 would be a tad slow on that jd2759 (15763)
