You only need the WAIK if you are using Vista or Server 2008.
Works fine in Windows 7 without it.

From their site directly under the download link for WAIK:

Note: WAIK is needed only for Windows Vista and Server 2008 platform

It's a bit confusing as above that it says WAIK for Windows 7 but I think you only need it for Vista or Server 2008 if you want to custimise a Windows 7 ISO. (Which is what the software is for :P)

1224658 2011-08-20 07:32:00 OK then :p Havent got 32 bit anyway lol. Or a key, if I want to make it unattended. Thats if it works in XP mode / virtual PC. Speedy Gonzales (78)
1224659 2011-08-20 07:58:00 Tried that, it kept freezing when creating the ISO sahilcc7 (15483)
1224660 2011-08-20 08:58:00 OK then :p Havent got 32 bit anyway lol. Or a key, if I want to make it unattended. Easy fix, Default keys for W7 (www.wincert.net) - you can make unattended files then, just change the key after installing on another PC with the purchased one.

As it mentions "These keys of course will not activate, but you can enter them into your task sequences when you are prompted for a product key to use. This will make your setup more unattended."
