1198211 2011-04-29 01:28:00 What new features/improvements do you guys think that Microsoft should put into Windows 8? sahilcc7 (15483)
1198212 2011-04-29 01:43:00 They will give it more flash & less substance, as allways

They should , make the min spec realistic. So we dont have more PC's
& laptops without the grunt needed to actualy run it , efficiently.
Also force PC suppliers standardize the F1, F2, F5, F10 etc etc boot keys.
Thats way overdue. Using F8 as a boot option key(motherboard) , thats really dumb. :banana :banana\

Fix the indexing service, CD's dont need it
Revert log veiwer & scheduler back as they were in XP: quick & easy to use.

1198218 2011-04-29 05:34:00 A real built in email client, built in office program not some addon, Firefox4 instead of IE76, 64 bit only and should run easily on a netbook even at Win8 Pro, support 3D graphics natively and also support touch screen natively and cost less than $100 for the top package gary67 (56)
1198219 2011-04-29 05:44:00 Windows 7 supports touch screen doesnt it. It helps if you have one tho

A few versions / features of windows 8 have already been leaked.

Looks like its going to have a customised lockscreen. Whatever that means, cloud features, drag and drop in windows explorer, account roaming feature, gestures and touch effects, history vault, whatever this is.

1198220 2011-04-29 06:46:00 Finally get rid of IE, and leave the drones with the choice they never knew they had.

Ooh, and for an even more unlikely improvement - security and stability... you know, something that doesn't require such regular patching.
