| 1199243 | 2011-05-04 00:19:00 | Has anybody on here been to Outward Bound? Is it any good? Reason I ask is that I am thinking about going there. |

| 1199244 | 2011-05-04 00:57:00 | I've never been but I have friends who have and they all loved it. They said it was hard work but if you have a positive attitude you'll get a lot out of it. | Siobhan Keogh (16063) | ||

Both are highly commendable, but Spirit seems to develop more teamwork and leadership skills. There is slightly more accent too, on interpersonal relationships, necessary to survive a couple of weeks in a confined space. I'd choose Spirit, but then again I spent a couple of years on one of its committees. | WalOne (4202) | ||

| 1199249 | 2011-05-04 09:46:00 | 2 days on a ship fixing computers was enough for me. I never want to go on a cruise ship again. I have considered going on Outward Bound myself, but never got round to it. Everyone seems to have nothing but praise for it. | Greven (91) | ||

On Spirit, a double spiral was the sign of an first timer, the treble spiral that of a seasoned old salt :horrified Or was it the other way round? |
