I called for the manager and complained. I think I also got a discount if I remember correctly. I never accept bad service and I think it is very rude if someone answers a phone in preference to a waiting customer. Time to walk out in future.	user (1404)

DSE I paid for a camera in eftpos and about 5 gift vouchers. The guy was very nice about it and didn't whine about it or walk away. Though, if my memory works, I recall getting 'bout 20m of wire for a "classified" project. The girl was OK but she was sighing while she was measuring it out, metre by metre. I don't bother asking them to measure anything, I just do it myself. They don't care (at least not in the Dick Smith I go to.. maybe I go there too often) Other than that they're usually good, except the lousy online stock levels... basic rules: if it says out of stock they probably have 5 hiding somewhere, if it says in stock there's a 5% chance they haven't stocked it for the last 4 years, and if it says "2 or less" that translates into "if you bother going you're going to be disappointed" - although 7.5% of the time there's 1-9 but never 4 of them. (All statistics are proven to be 40% true from the result of years of purchasing from Dick Smith) Trev: I hope the Warehouse CDs were the same or better brand than the DSE ones... a lot of theirs (Warehouse) are cheap junk. I am with Jester if you are bright and bubbly they will look after you. Look like a half sucked mintie you will get the service you deserve. I have had to walk out from a few places because the queue is too long (farqueue) like my Post Shop and MSL fasteners on Rosebank Road but like General McArthur I will come back and try my luck later.	prefect (6291)

Tell me about it the stock level thing is just a lottery wheel. Once went to 3 DSEs looking for a radio microphone clip. TDK. Don't buy the Transonic ones. Walked into the Warehouse selected my cds, walked over to the counter, got served strait away. Was in and out in under 5 mins. :)	Trev (427)
