I think the biggest mistake Hone is making is trying to start a left wing party, he should have just made it a left wing Maori Party, then he would have got lots of Maori votes. With this new party he will attract of of the Sue Bradford, Matt McCarton and Nandor type left wing loony voters, which are quite a few. But it will result in a very disjointed party. |
