1228018 2011-09-01 04:46:00 I'm not quite sure how long this issue has been going, but on Mum's PC whenever Windows Explorer tries to burn a disc the wizard disappears prematurely, leaving the disc forever burning until the computer is restarted, and the CD may or may not be usable. ImgBurn on the same PC works perfectly, the same drive works perfectly in my PC and a different drive in Mum's PC has the same issue. A fresh user account doesn't have this problem, so what setting might have mucked itself up?

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

1228019 2011-09-01 05:04:00 Sounds like the built in burning has a prob, if Imgburn works OK. Could be a corrupt profile, if you created another profile, and it works OK Speedy Gonzales (78)
1228020 2011-09-01 06:17:00 Why care? Imgburn beats the pants off Windows. pctek (84)
1228021 2011-09-01 06:32:00 But it's a lot more extra steps to burn from Windows Live Photo Gallery ;) pcuser42 (130)

1228026 2011-09-01 20:37:00 Extra steps? Launch Imgburn, browse to files, select, click burn. pctek (84)
1228027 2011-09-01 21:42:00 Extra steps? Launch Imgburn, browse to files, select, click burn.

Select photos to burn, copy them to another folder, then browse (clicking the unlabelled icon to do so) and select Burn.

In WLPG, simply click File -> Burn. :illogical
