1201081 2011-05-10 09:01:00 One of the suggested repair methods on the net is called Rip-Stop tape but I haven't been able to source it in NZ. Anyone got any other repair ideas for a 2 inch rip in the nylon(?) outer fabric of the jacket?

many thanks!

1201082 2011-05-10 21:02:00 Duck tape, rip stop tape would need to come from a specialist repairer someone who did tents and other nylon fabrics. Boat shops often have it for repairing nylon spinnaker sails gary67 (56)
1201083 2011-05-10 22:14:00 outdoor shops would have them like ski shops and tramping shops ......

some of them might have some glue then after it dries you put this sticky patch on which holds it in place and you are suppose to removet he patch afterwards. i was told that if you glue the patch as well and don't ever remove it ... it's stronger but it might not look that good .......

they're about $30.
