1200126 2011-05-07 09:30:00 Defiant Invercargill businessman Louis Crimp plans to use police muscle to boot the city's Mongrel Mob members out of their gang headquarters in about six weeks.

This could be interesting.

Read here (www.stuff.co.nz).

1200127 2011-05-07 09:33:00 Ain't gonna happen.

People don't "forget" money... There's surely more in this than meets the eye.

Can't be a very successful businessman.

1200131 2011-05-07 21:35:00 Mr Crimp sold a Severn St house, now the Mongrel Mob pad, to Tangi Ropu Newton Te Kahu in 1988 . But he had forgotten about the transaction and it wasn't until last year that he learnt he had received no mortgage payments for the property .

Mr Crimp held a mortgagee sale of the house in February, with the property sold to one of Mr Crimp's companies for more than $100,000 . That made him its owner again .

Not wanting to put Mongrel Mob members on to the streets of Invercargill, he said he also offered to let them stay at the property if they paid minimal rent, but they had not bothered to reply .

Southland police area commander Inspector Olaf Jensen, said he was unaware of Mr Crimp's plans to kick out the Mongrel Mob members in about six weeks .

1)He financed them . Why?
2)He forgot he hadn't received any mortgage payments? How? Was he so rich he didn't notice?
3)He has a mortgagee sale and buys it back? Dodgy .
4)He doesn't want to put them out on the street . Tui Ad here .
5)He's neglected to mention all this to the police .

1200132 2011-05-07 23:59:00 Crimp is the dodgiest business man in Southland. He makes a sport of pushing the boundaries & especially hates the Invercargill Licencing Trust, but he is very intelligent so his dodgy dealings are always legal by exploiting legal loopholes. Greven (91)
1200133 2011-05-08 00:04:00 He's probably got more cash than all of us put together which makes him a tall poppy and therefore a target. Snorkbox (15764)
1200134 2011-05-08 00:22:00 Wouldn't do much to improve his property.

Does it really matter ! he had forgotten he had it or was he to afraid to collect the rent in the first place.

Lurking.

Ps. CRIMP and another called WHIMP share dealer.

1200135 2011-05-08 00:50:00 Louise Crimp I believe is the owner of bars in Invercargill. He has been a City Councilor for Invercargill. His building firm has appeared on Fair go re a residential property that he built in Winton (from memory) flooded. When I first bought my section here in Invercargill I found out that a large block of land over my back fence is owned by Louise Crimp. Nothing has been done with this land over the past five years apart from a bulldozer removing gorse from it. Maybe he has forgotten that he owns it although he would be paying rates for it.
