1199938 2011-05-06 11:37:00 Well if the 32/64 bit version of Bitdefender internet security is 265mb / 304mb, it better do something lol. Think I'll pass Speedy Gonzales (78)
1199939 2011-05-06 11:51:00 I think I'll stay with what I have. Snorkbox (15764)
1199940 2011-05-06 12:11:00 I take those style test results with a grain of salt.

Real life results are usually always completely different.

AVG being better than Nod32 ????? give me a break.:groan:

The amount of badly infected PC's that are seen that have AVG far out way the number that have Nod32.

This year - number of infected PC's that have nod32 - two.
Number with AVG ---- lost count, but exceed 20 easily. (5 in the last two weeks alone - just looked up my records)

1199942 2011-05-06 13:10:00 the thing to remember when giving numbers from your experience fixing things is how common is the thing in question. For example if AVG is much more widespread than NOD32 (I have no information but it's free so it wouldn't surprise me) then of course more pc's would fail with it on.

Not saying I believe AVG is better than NOD32 either, just saying seeing more of something being faulty may just mean there is more of it in general, what we need is the % of pc's installed with each that have issues, not the amount of each.

1199943 2011-05-06 14:22:00 Yea our numbers of infected nod32 systems is rising all the time because pretty much every computer store in town sells it.
Had 3 in just this week and had two phone calls late Friday with nod32 and infected.
