1200786 2011-05-10 07:53:00 I have just been to Dunedin and back. I was tempted to buy one. I would have split it in two and had one piece of chicken today and one tomorrow. The cats could have the bacon as a treat. The cats always get the fatty skin off any chicken that I have (they love it). But the cats were out of luck because instead I had a healthy sandwich at larnach's castle.

I had Radio Talk ZB on the radio and there was a lot of talk back about KFC's Double Down burger. KFC are certainly getting a lot of publicity on the web, the newspapers, radio and on television.

1200787 2011-05-10 08:09:00 Had one today. Pretty good. Would get it without the sauce next time. --Wolf-- (128)
1200788 2011-05-10 10:33:00 Mmmm. Chicken and cheese without the yukky bun.

Inuit had a diet of no veges and no grains, didn't seem to do them any harm.
Now of course, someone will point out they didn't have chickens either.........

Seal: tastes like chicken.... :D

Gonna try one as soon as I lose this crappy cold!

EDIT: Double Down, not seal. :)

Yea couple of us down here reckoned the sauce was average. One reckoned it would go well with BBQ sauce instead.

1200791 2011-05-10 11:16:00 I had mine with the sauce, but without cheese. Not a big cheese fan. Chilling_Silence (9)
1200792 2011-05-10 11:25:00 Had one tonight (along with $80 worth of other stuff from KFC - yes, $80).

Not bad, almost tasted too good, could feel pressure building in my chest  probably the oncoming heart attack

1200793 2011-05-10 20:36:00 My daughter used to work for KFC when she was at school a few years back and she used to close, bringing home lots of KFC (that they had to throw away). Never had any, but I can't stand the smell of KFC ever since. On the other hand, my mates say it's a taste you have to try at least once ......
