1200896 2011-05-10 10:39:00 We had a civilian Iroqui flying around here the other day. Think the colours were red and white.

1200897 2011-05-10 11:37:00 At Wanganui we have an Appache copter that does flight training etc. Damned noisy brute. Always makes me laugh. When it comes towards you it is very loud, as it passes overhead & moves off you can hardly hear it. PJ.

I was in Wanganui today for a job and while at the airport waiting to escape (sorry, fly out) that helicopter was farting about outside the terminal for ages with guys climbing under and over it, then it was taken for a low level circuit or two and finally (when the team got hungry I guess) it pushed off and left us in peace. They could have done all their mucking about anywhere on the field, but oh no, outside the terminal was the prime spot.

Cheers

Subtle, subtle PJ... :D

I was actually doing a job for a slooooowwwwww paying client whom I'd sworn I'd never help again, but I did, and the invoice has gone off tonight with "7 days" on it, but I won't be holding my breath.

If I went for job interviews I'd probably not stand a chance these days anyway! Not much hair, that which I do have is more winter-frost than battleship grey; I used to have a good memory but I put it down somewhere and can't find it for looking, I've got skills but only a museum could use them.

So, I'm self employed, have a nucleus of obscure skills and knowledge that youth cannot access in today's disposable world so I just about get by.

Cheers
