| 1227008 | 2011-08-29 22:14:00 | Morning all, I dont know much about scripting, but is it possible to write a script that will allow multiple remote sites to update a single text file at an office. For example, when a back up has been completed successfully, the site name, time and date the back up was completed will be added to the file stored at the office in order to create an audit trail? By email may be another option, remote site backup script uses command line mailer to send results, filter in office triggers on incoming mail and appends data to file. A bit more detail about the environment would be helpful. |
