| 1229071 | 2011-09-06 01:57:00 | I sent an email with a photo attachment to a friend in Australia but was returned with the following: "The original message was received at Mon, 5 Sep 2011 22:56:17 +1000 from omp1002.tnz.mail.aue.yahoo.com [124.108.96.25] ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- <xxxx@optusnet.com.au (mblim@optusnet.com.au)> (reason: Insufficient permission) (expanded from: <xxxx@optusnet.com.au (mblim@optusnet.com.au)>) ----- Transcript of session follows ----- Mail quota exceeded. 550 5.0.0 <xxxx@optusnet.com.au (mblim@optusnet.com.au)>... Insufficient permission" How do you explain that? "Mail quota exceeded" propably meaning his mail box is full; but what is this "Insufficient permission"? |

| 1229073 | 2011-09-06 02:00:00 | Unsure about the insufficient permissions, but the issues are certainly at his end. can you send a text only message? His mailbox might be almost full, with enough space to let say a 40kb message through, but not enough for a 500kb image. I would send a few test email and maybe get him to call optusnet and have a chat to the helpdesk about it. he's probably got more than he's supposed to in his webmail. |
