I was born in Kenya and lived there many years. Homosexuality was unusual among adults, and usually involved a European. The interesting thing is that Aids has always been present in east Africa and was carried by monkeys. Now that the inhabitants have been exposed to European type medication their immune systems, like ours, are shot and they are no longer resistant to native disease. Other diseases like Smallpox, Typhoid, Cholera, Syphilis, and Gonorrhea, were brought in by the Colonials, as in other parts of the world. These killed off thousands. |
