2011-05-11 03:09:00 | Now I've got a positive balance in it - but they tell me I have $0 that I can have, send or spend. What's up with that?

2011-05-11 03:36:00 | www.paypal.com q1YhQNwQ7K2zRQTwlnQ5KL!-934834594?locale=en_US&_dyncharset=UTF-8&countrycode=US&cmd=_help-ext&serverInstance=9008&t=solutionTab&ft=browseTab&ps=solutionPanels&solutionId=58782&isSrch=Yes I wonder if it's possible it might take a day or two for the funds to become available for withdrawal once they've gone into your paypal account? It looks like Paypal will actually send you a check in the mail.

2011-05-11 04:10:00 | PP says that I have the money from you - but that I cannot access it without an online banking password and personal PIN - which I don't have as I don't make any transactions online at all. Even if I did - I don't think letting PP dance through my bank balance is a good idea if they can withdraw what they want and when they want it. I'm on the phone with PP right now and they say I have to drive to my bank, get a notarized letter from them that the bank account is good and in my name and that I have to submit that form by registered mail to their offices and I can expect a reply in less than thirty days either denying or affirming that I can get the funds transferred to that bank. That means a 180 mile round trip for me and several more days of fighting with them for my money. And they gladly told me that PP will ONLY charge me $10.00USD for this transaction even though I buy the gas and take the time to drive to and from the bank (and then there's prolly a fee at my bank for the notarized letter) I thought something like this would happen - but I won't be able to go to my bank for at least two or three more weeks for that to get started. My opinion is that PP makes it so impossible to deal with them in a US bank that I will never do it again. I called my bank today and they said that I should get personal checks from friends in other countries next time. I'll just have to wait until my next bank day in June and take care of it then. Living in the mountains like this has it's problems I guess.

2011-05-11 04:11:00 | I have never received money using it, so I'm afraid I can't help | Agent_24 (57) | |
2011-05-11 04:25:00 | Addendum: I'll play this situation out but in my time and for my circumstances and I certainly have no animosity toward Dean for what should have been a simple transaction . I apologize if I popped off a little harshly but I certainly have no fear of eventually getting the money - it's just gonna be a tooth-pull without anesthesia . .

2011-05-11 04:30:00 | I feel absolutely terrible about this Joe, from this end it all looked dead easy - on Paypal's help page they said a check could be sent, but didn't mention anything about having to supply bank account details - I didn't supply any of my bank account details when setting up the account and it was quite happy. I've emailed paypal support with a few questions too, don't worry we'll sort something out. :( :badpc:

2011-05-11 04:38:00 | I told them I want it transferred to my bank account and I have a couple of e's hitting my mailbox right now. I called my daughter-in-law in Montana and she used my password and sn to access my account - and although she runs two businesses with PP, she said she's never seen anything so fouled up in her life. PP also never asked her these questions nor made her get a letter from a bank confirming she actually had an account there. No worry - like I said I can let this settle out and get it done and I'm not worried about the time factor as I don't need to rely nor need on the money that quickly anyway. Let 'er float on out be herself and I'll be OK with it when it gets done --- so don't feel bad as you are not incidental to my wrath here. Just that PP en toto - SUX!

2011-05-11 04:41:00 | That's rubbish isn't it. I can fully see now why you were hesitant to use Paypal. :groan: If there is anything at all I can do from here please let me know. :) | wratterus (105) | |
2011-05-11 04:41:00 | Couldn't you just spend it at Amazon or something and be done with it? | DeSade (984) | |
2011-05-11 04:44:00 | Dean - I am just very happy that you have your pedal in transit - that makes me happy - no, make that: happiest . What may have been pure H - E - double hockey sticks to me will fall into place in it's own due time and of that I am sure .
