| 1202203 | 2011-05-16 03:04:00 | Unfortunately, so have I. Damn you 11.04. I haven't even upgraded to 11.04 yet, I've had problems with many versions, on many computers - but Ubuntu isn't the best for stability, with all the changes they make every 5 minutes. I'm not upgrading to 11.04 until I find a way to get rid of the OSX style menus and window buttons - if I wanted that I'd buy a Mac! |

| 1202207 | 2011-05-16 04:15:00 | If people don't feel they can talk to you, you're only making life hard for your self/restricting your self from progressing. Best advice ever. A good bedside manner goes a long way. That, and proficiency with the Google Machine is worth more than a piece of paper proving you memorized some answers in a lot of cases. Not all, but a lot. Tip number 3: When they say they never touched anything.......normally means they did 99% of the time  too right! |

Choose another theme, some of them have the minimize/restore/close buttons on the right-hand side. They're all kind of ugly though! |

That's not the main problem, I already use another theme to fix that issue. you could just log in using the classic - no effects mode. thats what i have been doing after installing 11.04. you can choose that option on the login screen. I read about that, but I couldn't get it to work on the LiveCD - I think I need to install a test version somewhere first. How is Classic? Just like the old Gnome or something else? Can you set it as default and remove the new mode\style? |

If you are short-tempered than you might hurt someone on the first day :p (well if your users are like mine :) ) |
