Right now I am so fed up with online money transfers that I cannot perceive another way to get into a full-on coronary arrest. Uncanny as it may sound - I get a check once in a while from a buddy in Bulgaria and my bank cashes it on the spot for me - or I can endorse it to "DEPOSIT ONLY" and send it through the mail and have it appear as posted in a few hours after they get it in the mail delivery of that day. Checks are so-o-o easy. But to answer your question: I have the money in the account but they show me as having $0.00 to spend or withdraw. |

PP on the phone and also on my account page said I have the money and yet when I try to spend any of it, I get a message that I have $0.00 in my account and the transaction is denied. OK but surely if you intend to spend it from Paypal to an online store such as Amazon, this removes your need for any bank involvement? I tried to make a transaction with an online guitar parts store (GuitarFetish (store.guitarfetish.com)) that uses PP and advertises the ease with which to use it - and it was denied again. |

They had the money but I had to send a notarized letter from my bank stating they would accept the transactions over the internet in the form of electronic transfers . This is something my bank will not do . Until they received that letter, my funds were locked down in an escrow'd account and not drawing interest - but you can bet THEY got interest! It's a scam and proves to be of no value to me at all . Besides, the trip to my bank is a 90 mile round trip and I only go there every three months or so and I'm not due for a bank-day for 70 days or so anyway . Nope - they had me jumping through too many hoops and barrels to make it worthwhile to me so I killed it . |
