1230347 2011-09-11 21:57:00 Hi guys
When I was on XP I used to run a utility called ERUNT.
This made a backup of the registry and also had a compact the registry option.
I found that this made a noticeable difference to the start up time.

Since I have gone to Windows 7 I have not used it or tried it.

I would like to know if anyone is using it on 7
And if there is a another registry backup systems
And a registry compacter.
Programs like C Cleaner delete unwanted entries, but they don't compact the registry files !

It still works well especially for registry recovery.
