| 1230277 | 2011-09-11 02:25:00 | I have a Acer Aspire 5102 Laptop. Runs Win XP Home SP3. Last night the screen showed vertical stripes and locked up. Turned it off and on to get going. I found that I had no sound or modem. According to Sound and Audio plus Phone and Modem these devices were not availible. Add hardware wouldn't find them. The only way it comes right is to leave it over night, turn it on the next day and it finds the Sound and Modem. It has done this few times over the last year. Anyone got any ideas? Sound and modem drivers are up to date. |
