| 1230235 | 2011-09-10 10:43:00 | My brother is having issues with iTunes on his pc . First it suddenly stopped working one day, and he couldn't open it . Then he said he tried to install a new version, but it didn't work . So I tried removing the old one, there were bits and pieces that got removed but there still seems to be some files there . I downloaded the latest version today, tried to install it, and near the end of the installation, the progress meter goes away and looks like this (won't go any further no matter how long you leave it) . . photobucket . com/albums/oo65/madrx3boy/2cbd0fb4 . jpg" target="_blank">i362 . photobucket . com So I cancelled the rest of the install, tried to open iTunes but it comes up with the following: . photobucket . com/albums/oo65/madrx3boy/154b781e . jpg" target="_blank">i362 . photobucket . com Click OK, then it comes up with this window: . photobucket . com/albums/oo65/madrx3boy/e0fee5ce . jpg" target="_blank">i362 . photobucket . com So I tried installing iTunes again, this time the install went fine the whole way through . Tried opening iTunes again but it still comes up with the same window(s) . Would anyone have any idea what's going on? After a google search, that . dll file appears to be a missing registry entry, so I ran the Registry Cleaner on CCleaner in the hope that maybe it would fix it, but still nothing . Your help is much appreciated |
