2011-05-16 04:25:00 | Just found this (www.odt.co.nz). Canterbury Television (CTV) and Maori Television have become unlikely bedfellows, with Maori Television broadcasting the Christchurch-based channel nationwide from today. CTV will broadcast on Maori Television weekdays from 8am to 10am and from 1pm to 3pm, and weekends from 8am to 2pm until July 31.

2011-05-17 04:33:00 | Maori TV - now there is an oxymoron - How has that been included in the Treaty of Waitangi - Could they tell the future by 140 years?:clap | KenESmith (6287) | |
2011-05-17 05:10:00 | Of much more importance than treaty issues or Hone and Titiwai, is that Maori TV is the only free-to-air broadcaster showing all 48 matches of the RWC :clap:clap And not only but also, the following will be shown LIVE :clap NZ vs Tonga, SA vs Wales, NZ vs Japan, OZ vs Ireland, NZ vs France, SA vs Samoa, NZ vs Canada. All the 4 QFs, the 2 SFs, the Bronze and Grand finals will also be LIVE (that's the one where Tonga wins the Cup). :banana

2011-05-18 04:05:00 | I would like to know the thinking behind this tie up. | Cicero (40) | |
2011-05-18 04:47:00 | Perhaps, Cicero, you could phone the parties up and ask. | Snorkbox (15764) | |
2011-05-18 05:54:00 | I would like to know the thinking behind this tie up. Ci they probably want the CTV land back, it's only worth "beads and muskets" if they enforce the treaty. Although they may have to lift the Tapu, this place should be laid down as a memorial to those who lost their lives there. Lurking.
