No gunshops in town and there is one restaurant that serves alcohols when they get their liquor license . They've been waiting for one for over two yeas now . The number of liquor licenses are set and limited in each county and someone has to die or close their bar/restaurant for you to get one . But there are huge bidding wars for them and it takes millions of dollars to even get into the auction . There are a few churches in town but they aren't at any crossroads . No cemeteries either . |

The number of liquor licenses are set and limited in each county and someone has to die or close their bar/restaurant for you to get one. We had that stupid system up to a few years ago where there only so may piss licences. They could be transferred but not created and they could be lost for ever. Another stupid law which has just died was you had to be serving piss within 24 hours of being burnt out/ pub destroyed in a caravan or something or you lost your licence. Changed them now to a easy to get easy to lose piss licence system. Man we had the dumbest piss laws in the world barring Suadi Arabia up to a few years ago. We even had 6 oclock closing on booozers which was brought in WW1 to stop munitions workers from getting pissed after work. They forgot to change the laws after 1945 (ww2) |

Did you know that a restaurant is not required to have restrooms - nor is any other establishment, but a bar must have them? If you serve liquor in individual portions, you gotta have them. |

A bar needs toilets its a natural requirement when you are on the piss throwing litres of beer down your neck. When I said 6 oclock closing that was1800 hrs not 0600 hrs. Dad used to race into town on a Friday evening with the workers and other farmers and throw piss down their neck as fast as they could. The only controlling effect was the fall of the beer was by gravity and not pumped down your neck. |
