| 1202771 | 2011-05-20 00:36:00 | I hate people who dont indicate on roundabouts, probably my biggest pet peeve behind those who seem to want to travel 40km below the speed limit. Makes me want to grab a huge sledgehammer and inflict damage. |

When you are leaving a roundabout you are meant to give a left indication so that people know you are leaving the roundabout. The number of times I give way to a driver who right indicates before leaving the roundabout is infuriating. |

| 1202775 | 2011-05-20 02:19:00 | another annoyance i deal with 10+ times a day is lane drifters - people that just change lanes without looking or indicating - and much worse are the lane drifters that to it when they are turning onto a double lane road - instead of sticking to their inside lane - they just drift out wide into the outside lane - MY inside lane - if i play chicken with them they act as if im in the wrong and if i avoid them i get an impatient guy behind me on his horn wanting me to go - and crash! its ALWAYS falcodore drivers too - some how think they are above the law in their now common as a corolla vehicle as they vomit all over the road rules :O |

Ford drivers are way more classy than the Generals drivers |

| 1202777 | 2011-05-20 03:56:00 | I don't usually offer my opinion on fora because I like my head to remain firmly on my neck, however this one looks to be frequented by mature adults and I want to take my chances. The current give way rules are pretty bad and out of touch with the rest of the world. We make a decent living with tourism and we must align in order to give them a better all-round experience. True, the bad drivers will never align to anything - but we will and that is what matters. As for indicating, in this country we tend to indicate too late and at times never. Indicating is designed to make other motorists aware of our intentions and not to confirm what they had just witnessed. The 3 seconds rule should be an indication only and if possible more time should be allowed for others to register on our intentions; at 100kph 3 seconds are rats. just my 2 pennies worth. Sanco |

| 1202779 | 2011-05-20 12:28:00 | I can remember when indicators did not exist as standard equipment. used to waggle your arm about outside the window. Of course in these days of air conditioning that wouldn't work too well! Not so long ago, indicators were not required for a WOF, but if you had them they would have to be in good working order. I am not sure if they are a legal requirement now or not. |

Before blinking lights they had trafficators little arms which popped out the side of the car. One my prefect they came out very fast and melted down when I changed it from 6 to 12 volts. |
