1202926 2011-08-17 01:22:00 this is a bit delayed but i work as a supervisor at kfc and i was always stuck on making burgers. so not only was i making all the other burgers ordered i had to make about 5 to 15 Double downs a min after doing that for the 3+ hours of a peak it gets hard. we cant pre make them. and making them pretty much once they came out of the cooker they are bloody hot, the gloves you wear dont stop you getting burnt fingers when making them, resulting in blisters by the end of your shift. and for the first 2 days they were out i spent 13 hours making them non stop with one 15min break on each shift because we were too busy to give breaks out. for some people that work at kfry its not all about throwing chicken in a box. just because its kfc doesnt mean its a dead beat job. during our earthquakes in feb we had ppl in there 40s wanting a job because the job they had were gone since our cbd is closed (and still is). so atleast we had a paying job to go too missjme (16378)
1202927 2011-08-17 01:24:00 Serious question - How hard is it to put a piece of chicken down, put some cheese, some bacon, some sauce, some more cheese and another piece of chicken on top?

Not an attack on you, but that still sounds piss easy compared to other jobs.

1202928 2011-08-17 01:48:00 It is. It's just when you're in a rush and having to look back and forth at the persons orders and not screwing up that's the issue. bob_doe_nz (92)

I did. You're not missing much. And I do intend to make my own variation when I can get the right spices. So yeah, Chill, I will accept the challenge.

1202934 2011-08-17 11:03:00 I used to regularly enjoy the Hawaiian BK from Burger King. Until all the furore over the double down led to a comparison of the various artery clogging yummies.

Seems my favourite BK feast was the worst of the lot.
I stopped cold turkey at that point with the BK's
