| 1202901 | 2011-05-17 23:28:00 | I'm not surprised. The Double Down burger has been well publicized with a lot of extra free advertising for KFC. A boom for KFC shareholders but a lot of extra work for KFC staff. The Double Down burger has become a talking point and people will rush or have rushed in to try it to see what all the fuss is about. I am yet to rush in and buy one of these burgers. |

| 1202903 | 2011-05-18 00:04:00 | Hmm... I don't see what they're complaining about. People who work longer than their normal rostered shift are being paid overtime. People working extra shifts because they've had to roster on more staff are being paid for the extra shifts. During busy times everyone needs to do their bit, and during quiet times you can slow down and work at a more leisurely pace. Either way you're still being paid an hourly rate, and everything balances out. Maybe the union should suggest KFC pay staff based on how busy they are? When the restaurant is busy and the cooks are run off their feet, pay the staff $20 an hour, and when there are no customers, or business is slow, pay the staff $2 an hour? |

| 1202905 | 2011-05-18 00:10:00 | I worked for an Ag contractor years ago. 44hrs a week was standard time. 44 to 50 was time and a half and after that was double time I ended up doing 22hrs in one day once. When things were busy the money was good and more than made up for the quiet times. I also thought the system was fair. |
