1204152 2011-05-23 01:11:00 Do you actually have ANY experience with drugs, or are you just spouting what you heard....I have used drugs for over 30 yrs....Drugs dont harm people, greed does!...The only drugs I dont condone are P and the big H...The rest, like alcohol are fine if used in moderation!

And here people, we have one of those that think "they" are the clever ones.

It was only a matter of time

1204155 2011-05-23 01:47:00 Sometimes the old ways are best; if these chemwitted users had been shown the error of their ways gently but firmly early in their experiments, they would not have been such a problem now. Flogging 'round the fleet, keelhauling, the rack, the wheel, the thumbscrews, and drawing & quartering had a pretty memorable effect. For second offenders, either hanging or sending them to England solves the problem nicely. (Sending them to Aus doesn't work quite so well these days.) R2x1 (4628)
1204156 2011-05-23 01:48:00 Your whole argument seems to be predicated on the assumption that drugs being illegal makes them harder to acquire.

When I was a teenager it was easier to get weed than alcohol.

1204158 2011-05-23 01:58:00 Singapore has the answer they rehab drug users out cold turkey in a concrete cell. There is a bit of attrition in some cases but who cares. Dealers get the long drop hanging method in Changi jail. prefect (6291)

Perhaps you could try out the long drop method for us and let us know what you think!

It has always been the case that people can easily find what they are looking for.Taking substances to alter peoples head space has always been and I believe will always be part of society.

I believe that making everything legal would merely send the wrong signals to people and we would get a shitload of people with drug problems who would have otherwise avoided it.

TBH, that's what I thought too when they made buggery legal!
