1204054 2011-05-23 21:37:00 I see that the WCC is going to court to try and change the resource consent that it was granted on. Talk a about a pack of ******s. When the so called public opinion is against it the clowns think wasting rate payers money is a good thing to change their own consent .. Could be a costly court battle in which case the sign should be changed to Wellyfail..

Typically humorless pack of public servants..

1204055 2011-05-23 21:49:00 It might be up by the time I go to Wellington in late June :D
Hopefully, it will have been knocked down by then :D

Where is Wellywood?:help: There is no Wellywood in my New Zealand atlas.:sleep

1204060 2011-05-24 01:03:00 There is no Whanganui in my New Zealand atlas either for that matter. I must admit I haven't bought a new road map for some time though.

Why not "Absolutely...... Positively etc"?? If they have to have a sign at all. It's interesting that Infratil and the Council are co owners of the land in question and the Council spent ratepayers money to brand Wellington with the Absolutely thing.

Whats so "Absolutely...... Positively etc" about Wellington. If it wasn't for the fact that the seat of government is there it would be a town about the size of Wanganui with a ferry terminal and crap weather..
