1231635 2011-09-17 05:22:00 No electrical wires in this duct. Thats the One  All that are in mine are 4 Ethernet cables. The power cable was already there, someplace, under the other end of the workshop.

1 is for the main connection, another for the telephone lines, and two spares

1231637 2011-09-17 06:18:00 Their gear is awesome, i helped put in a link about 1km over tidal water using their bullets and it's rock solid.

We are decking out our office with their unifi AP's that kinda look like smoke detectors, awesome centralized management software etc, for the $ you can not go wrong.

1231638 2011-09-17 06:38:00 oh helpful to know, do they do a wireless repeater?
My cousin needs on to repeat his wifi network further.
Stupid router has internal aerials so gets rubbish coverage.

1231641 2011-09-17 10:43:00 cables ( security, reliability, speed, less chance of data interference ) if it isn't going to be near electrical or other data cables then cat 5 utp will be fine if it is going to share a space with other data cables than cat5 or 5e stp will be the way to go ( utp = unshielded twisted pairs , stp shielded twisted pairs its all in the name. ) milkster1976 (16554)
