| 1231282 | 2011-09-15 20:34:00 | Hauppage cards maybe popular, just dont use the program the card comes with. From what Ive read about the program, its crap / buggy and crashes often | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 1231283 | 2011-09-16 22:47:00 | I have one of these www.pp.co.nz works great with windows media centre. Only a single tuner if thats an issue. I also have had an HVR900 USB tuner and it worked well also, and it did have composite/svideo in via an adapter cable. I decided I prefer internal though. I think avermedia is a good brand but hauppage seems much more popular. have just purchased the hauppage card. should perform nicely. hopefully only minimal software issues, but only time will tell. thanks for your advice |

| 1231284 | 2011-09-17 13:16:00 | To be honest I've never used the software that came with mine, Windows 7 doesn't need it anyway. When I got mine I was running XP and freeview had only just started broadcasting. The included software at the time didn't work in NZ and I used DVBViewer and powerDVD (Just for the codecs) instead. |
