I'd like to call them back and ask them what the hell their problem is! Anyone built one? I think I saw one in EA or SC several years ago. Pity you have to pay an extra fee to get the feature enabled on your line though. |

I also don't consider my DSL to be reliable enough to actually trust it to phone calls either, especially in an emergency, considering this year I've had about 3 days when the DSL was down for over 10 hours each time. |

Record a standard mother-in-law, they are genetically engineered and match-fit in that very art. :yuck: An average M-in-L will transmit pretty well without needing a phone. While not in use for scaring dozy callers, put a dozen old PM/diaphragm microphones in series near the M-in-L; even while at idle she'll generate enough power to supply six houses, and keep the neighbourhood free of mice too. But wait, there's more: For every hour you have her at your place generating power by imitating bagpipes, your F-inL will give you a dozen beer. :thumbs: |
