On a clean install of Windows 2000 on an old Dell Optiplex GX50, the sound's pitch is way too high; see www.twitvid.com Windows XP dual booting on the same PC doesn't have this issue.

Did the drivers install some kind of program (where you have different effects)? Look in control panel. Someone may have changed it,. Cant remember what its called. I'm using Win7's drivers (not ASUS drivers). Which I think installs this separate program |

The drivers are the standard Windows ones :p |

So, 2K installed them, when you installed 2K? Try installing the drivers off the site |
