1232670 2011-09-21 05:05:00 Hey, so recently looked at the requirements for the upcoming bf3 game, and was comparing it with my computer discovered i could barely meet the minimum specs. I have no idea about the new processor out atm and what's good value for money, im looking at spending roughly 600~ on upgrading my current one i will be needing processor,mb and ram. I have the rest sorted, looked into this www.playtech.co.nz anyone have any advice on anyone better? p.s i don't need overclocking features.

Cheers.

Comes to a little over $600 but they have combo deals that would reduce it slightly, other sites have cheaper RAM that could save you some money also.
www.pp.co.nz for example.

I would reccomend an i5 over an i3 for a better long term build, i3 is great but quad core is becoming the norm and game writers will likely take advantage of that at some point.
Any Z68 or P67 board from a good brand should do the Job. ( I like Asus )

1232675 2011-09-22 08:10:00 Much difference between the ASUS P8Z68-M PRO and the ASUS P8Z68-V PRO ? chuanwai (12518)
1232676 2011-09-22 08:31:00 Looks like the M is uATX - MATX? The V is ATX. And the M also has displayport (as well as HDMI/VGA/DVI). The V doesnt have displayport. But the V has bluetooth the M doesnt

The V (www.asus.com) and the M (www.asus.com)
