| 1232867 | 2011-09-21 23:43:00 | Hi there. Any recommendations for burn-in/test software , preferably something that boots via a CD so as to bypass any possible Windows corruption. There the usual RAM test tools, but I'd like something to test the whole system, incl vid card. or, if thats not practicle Burn in/test software that runs in Win. Perhaps Passmarks BurnInTest ?? Something I can leave running overnight, another tool for those PC's with really intermittent faults Cheers -Ive also noticed that MEMtest86+ doesn't continuously loop on some PC's...just a bug ?? |

| 1232868 | 2011-09-22 00:05:00 | I'd be interested as well, something I should do more of when I build myself PC's What I do use (mostly windows based) is: Realtemp or speedfan for monitoring temps Prime 95 to stress test CPU Furmark to stress test GPU Memtest for RAM I've even tried running prime 95 and furmark at the same time, really cranks up the fan noise. But a single burn-in tool might be a better option. |
