1234230 2011-09-28 06:32:00 This should be an easy one, I've just forgotten how to do it.
I have setup an old pc as a home theatre media centre.
Just added a wireless card to connect to my home network.
Trying to get around the password barrier.
It's running Vista & the other systems are XP, Vista & Win7.

1234231 2011-09-29 03:56:00 Go this sorted, well that part anyway.
There is another issue.
On cold boot the HD error comes up.
On reboot it dosent & will then run happily as long as you like.

1234235 2011-09-30 00:14:00 Auto login for passworded sytems:
1) Set a password
2) Click Start --> Run --> control userpasswords2

From there, untick the option requiring users to enter a password. It'll prompt you for the password of the user account you want to auto-login as.

Done :D

I could try that but I'm thinking it's HD problem.
