2011-09-26 06:10:00 | I'd take Puppy over DSL any day. | baabits (15242) | |
2011-09-26 06:33:00 | Damn Small LinuxThis isn't such a good choice - DSL is somewhat out of date, and the most recent release is over three years old. Puppy is a much better bet. | Erayd (23) | |
2011-09-26 06:47:00 | But it doesn't like so little RAM. Tiny Core is the new project by the guy behind Damn Small, I think?

2011-09-26 08:17:00 | But it doesn't like so little RAM.No reason you can't cram it happily into that unless you're wanting to run a fully-featured modern DE. The big RAM-sucker is always going to be the web browser; there's unfortunately not much you can do about that. Tiny Core is the new project by the guy behind Damn Small, I think?I'm don't know - I haven't kept track of him, but it's entirely possible.

2011-09-26 10:25:00 | Try Macpup, I recently ran it on a system with 192MB RAM quite well! Its based off Puppy and uses enlightenment e17
