1206722 2011-06-03 10:29:00 Hi. We are wanting to have new carpet laid,
now that our 20 yr old has fled the nest!!!!!!!!!
Some one my wife met mentioned Carpet Mill. Just wondered if
any one had had any dealings with them.
So far had a quote from Carpet one. Any comments appreciated.

Carpet One seems to be like Briscoes, - they have a permanent sale, which makes me doubt it's really a sale.

Don't know anyone who had dealings with the other one.......Any user comments online about them all?

1206724 2011-06-04 01:58:00 I used carpet mill when I built my last house - it was fine - I had no issues with them.

I used carpet one when I built my current house - that was fine too - especially on their interest free deal - kept the money in my bank for longer.

Xtra flooring here were crap when we got them to quote on our latest build. That may just be a local store thing though (New Plymouth) as it was the service that was the problem.

It's just a store thing as Xtra (used to be Flair) in Carterton are excellent.

Make sure you get commercial underlay as it will give extra life to your carpet and be more comfortable.
