1206528 2011-06-02 23:39:00 This is driving me nuts, so obviously I come here :)
My partner says she has seen an ad on TV here for an Optus plan available, 100Gb with landline for $80 or so. The only thing I can find online is the Aussie Optus site which does have plans in this sort of range BUT are they available in NZ.

I know, just ring, but I want to know if its real or not first.

1206529 2011-06-02 23:50:00 As far as I am aware, Optus is only in Australia johcar (6283)
1206530 2011-06-03 03:25:00 i wouldnt think optus would even advertise here. GameJunkie (72)
1206531 2011-06-03 03:46:00 And I doubt you would get 100gb for $80,maybe in 50 years time Lawrence (2987)

1206534 2011-06-03 05:09:00 Optus don't operate in NZ. Sorry.

Try: www.orcon.net.nz

1206535 2011-06-03 05:14:00 As Optus would need to buy Telecom re-sold overpriced rubbish, seems unlikely they would bother, either that or spend billions on there own network. Battleneter2 (9361)
1206536 2011-06-03 06:55:00 Even taking into account them paying for local calls,we are getting Darren Hughed

Hadnt thought of this, its a real possibility as shes a world class surfer.

Many thanks to all who posted. I was gobsmacked when i saw how much was available for so little over there, and thought it too good to be true for us.
