| 1207191 | 2011-06-12 00:51:00 | I wonder if this SynLube Lub-4-Life is any good? http://www.synlube.com/ There are some informative articles listed under the Contents button Any comments on the claims it needn't be changed for 150,000 miles ? "The FIRST Oil you do NOT change" "SynLube Lube-4-Life ® ...for Engines is backed up, if installed in NEW vehicles, by our exclusive Limited Lubrication Performance Warranty for up to: 15 Years or 150,000 Miles (15 years or 240,000 Kilometers)" |

| 1207192 | 2011-06-12 04:15:00 | from the sounds of it they have a base oil then top up oil which i suspect is additive replacement package. quiet possible to do the miles with that setup. however thats assuming the oil doesn't get contaminated which is most likely their way of getting out of their warranty. if you want to do no oil changes, use a bypass filter system. you simply replace filters and top up when required. you always loose some oil due to oil changes and the topping up provides the extra additives. its best to go hand in hand with oil sample testing but that ups the cost by a large amount. |
