1207521 2011-06-10 09:42:00 I have just found Global PC in CHCH and ordered a kit from them. I see that they also have 0.5mm solder both 60/40 and lead free tin/copper:

1207522 2011-06-10 10:22:00 Thanks Terry. A good find and I've ordered .5mm solder from them :) They seemed the simplest.

Volt Electronics would have been my other choice - then I remembered I emailed them yesterday to ask where they were located and never got a reply. Their stuff is airmailed from Oz so I guess that's where they live. They give the impression that they're in NZ.

1207523 2011-06-10 23:59:00 I looked at Global PC too but decided that 0.5mm was too big for what I wanted, so I got the 0.3mm and 0.4mm from eBay. Total same weight and about the same price (in fact probably a bit cheaper) Agent_24 (57)
