1234776 2011-09-30 21:30:00 Hi Folks,

I have installed itunes 10 on a laptop with XP Pro SP3 .

It won't launch, it just crashed and sends an error report every time I try to launch .

I have uninstalled all Apple software and reinstalled with no joy . I have done a full virus/spyware scan and cleaned up the hard drive with no luck . \

I have asked Uncle Google but haven't come up with any conclusive answers .

What sort of things could cause iTunes to crash in XP?

Cheers!

1234777 2011-09-30 22:26:00 Could be one or several things causing problems.

Have a read of This page here (support.apple.com) Scroll down/expand out system wide trouble shooting.

One thing it doeskin mention, but can have an effect is low system spec's on the laptop. My old laptop does open Itunes, but have to wait anywhere up to 3 minutes for it to open. :sleep

1234779 2011-10-01 01:14:00 Are you syncing to an iPod/iPhone and syncing photos with included video?

If so it s a reported problem discussions.apple.com that is taking a long time to get through to apple.
