Because I'm quite happy to receive advertising from local business, However over the last few weeks their rate of spamation has skyrocketed, Seeing as they are sending it to two email addresses on the one PC we are over run with their crap. The expected unsubscribe button is absent from their email, instead you are directed to their site to do so. Where you have to login, all nice and well if you know these details, otherwise you press the contact button, where you are asked to login in order to contact them:badpc: Customer service my naked arse. After going in circles for a few minutes it became apparent there was no chance in hell of contacting them in a normal or customer friendly fashion so it was a case of hammering their login untill I chanced upon the correct pw. Then it was a case of looking their their options until the desired function could be disabled, which was well out of sight under options encouraging them to continue spamming. After this was done I sent them an email, Pre-configured by them to discourage anything apart from what fits into their little box of what they want to hear. So, I have no doubt whoever received my email instantly decided it wasn't their department and binned it. |
