No wonder they don't want to work

1208735 2011-06-12 22:17:00 Why should they work if they can receive so much money from we taxpayers?

I failed to understand how so many people can squeeze into an average 'home'? And, what the hell is the Dept concerned doing?

The first one...
4302 / 11 = That about ~322 after tax...

The last looks terrible... ~171 a week after tax.

Collectively, it's all more than livable. But alone and if you include kids, it seems unlivable to me.

1208737 2011-06-12 23:16:00 What the problem?

If they want to pool resources to lower costs then so be it.

As long as they are only getting the same entitlements as other "job seekers" and are activly looking for work then more power to them.

And if they aren't looking for work then thats the problem that should be focused on.

.
I think that's why the fuss - the fact they they may individually be getting accommodation costs - for the same place . So if so, then that's a bit off .
But no doubt WINZ will put a stop to it .
