1208094 2011-06-18 03:27:00 So to sum up, you believe that anything any Maori does is the responsibility of all Maori. However should any Maori step up and do anything about it, they are racist and their ideas are to be attacked. Therefore logically no Maori can do anything about anything in your eyes without being wrong. The old circular argument is back. Twelvevolts (5457)

There you are putting words in peoples mouths and twisting arguments again. Surely you can do better than that and if not just stop digging.

1208096 2011-06-18 03:58:00 Much like pandering to 12Vs ego driven troll replies, it is a waste of time. Maori have been given over 2 billion dollars in payouts, even have there own race based political party with the possibility of another extremely racist party in the works, have govt depts dedicated to their needs, specific funding and programs for them, yet that doesnt seem to be enough. The problem seems to me to be even the maori youth just are not interested in carrying the torch, the ones that tend to pick it up are half mad and think they are black american slaves and totally confuse their own identities.

PC World Press F1 forum best post of the month.

Well tell me what part of that isn't Rob On Guitars argument? Maybe you should read it again as it goes like this

Point 1. Maori are problems, we spend a lot of money on them and they're not happy anyway.

Point 2. Maori should do something for themselves but don't seem able to.

Point 3. Maori political parties are racist.

I can't see how you can say that is twisting it.

Point 2 and Point 3 form a circular argument, when Maori do something they are either wrong or racist, if they don't they are wrong and incapable.

Point 1 is pretty much a racist perspective assuming that any problems that involves a Maori is the responsibility of all Maori.

Now Mikebartnz as you have no ability to logically argue the point, you'd better repeat your hole statement again because basically that's all you got.

As to point 3 : It is actually the Maori seats in parliament that are racist not so much the political parties as anyone can vote for them.

As to point 1 and 2 because they are related : I met a guy who wanted to get funds from the iwi or what ever it was to send his kid to university and couldn't and yet a kid of one guys running the trust got his university fess paid for, accommodation and a vehicle. The trouble with all the money they have received is that very few Maori are seeing any benefit from it and some of the top guys just seem to have their snout in the trough.

The sad thing is that it is really only a small percentage that are giving them all a bad name although it often seems like a lot more.

It is also people like the Harawira's that are creating the racism.

Carry on digging. You keep trying to put people down and yet the sad thing is you are really only putting yourself down.
Your post #65 really capped it for me.
