I rather doubt you read what he wrote as you would then have ascertained who needed to think before they posted. However I personally wasn't claiming to be speaking for anyone, this is a simple ruse apparently that it is ok on here to comment on Maori issues if you are putting Maori down but not in any way if you're calling out someone for their racism. |

I have been told that more than once, mainly by maoris, who are ashamed and embarrased by these people who say they speak for all maoris, when really they only speak for a very small minority. Unfortunately, it is this very small minority that make noises out of all proprortion to their size. It would be very interesting to hear what the silent majority have to say. I'm certain many of the PC brigade would be very surprised. I have not responded to 12v as I feel he is not worth the effort. |

We could ask who these people are who claim to speak for Maori but we know they're a fantasy in your head, just like the friends you claim to consult who are Maori. You can always tell the racists as they resort to the silent majority theory. They're silent because they're too PC to tell you to your face you're a racist. |

| 1208075 | 2011-06-17 07:55:00 | But when YOU, Twelvevolts, are asked a direct question you seem to avoid actually answering. Therefore why not allow others the same latitude? It's only fair! |
