He might be too busy but if he is not he can do you really nice coding. Recently he wrote an entire internet management system for schools that controls block lists etc and got paid $2k to build a website for his family. Not that he charges that much, but he has been doing the family one for ages and he will continue to maintain it. If you are interested then PM me, other than that if you want learn to write your own site using HTML. You can get web templates from the internet that have graphics and layouts pre done, all you do is customize to taste. |

As far as I know, there haven't been probs with WordPress, and yes it is a managed service. Hopefully will be ok, it's one that daughter recommended, she teaches web design and multi media so she knows what is good or bad for online publishing. LL |

LLWordPress itself is an application, not a managed service. Yes, there have been *many* known security issues with it over the years. Wordpress.com is one of many places offering a managed WordPress platform. |

LL At work loads of people, including developers use it and other CMS type apps . There is often hacking, one client yesterday, this guy has loads of customers and the sites he looks after for them - quite a few have been hacked . We sent the usual message, fix your vulnerability and he came back and abused us and blamed our servers . It happens . You just have to keep them up to date all the time, then it's OK . |

I've just had a very grievous 3 weeks being hacked through one of my sites which brought all my sites down. It took a load of digging to find the problem, so if you do go down that path, I recommend you know alot about it, or have someone that does. :) | dpDesignz (15919) | ||
