| 1234812 | 2011-10-01 04:25:00 | I recently updated the latest avg free edition software on my pc , i have had lots of good comments about it in the past and not forgetting bad comments tooo . To the impression the new one seems to be looking better than the last one . Firstly I think - The scanner has got more faster in scanning for threats Secondly - The software doesnt slow your pc Thirdly - it's updates are still pretty fast I would love to know what u people think of it ? Leave answers in comments, Thanx |

I have seen countless numbers of AVG on customers computers all totally destroyed by infections, or if it can actually detect them, it cant deal to them. |

| 1234815 | 2011-10-01 07:55:00 | Norton do the same thing - A couple of days ago I uninstalled a Trial version of Norton Internet Security 2012 from a persons Laptop. Installed nod32 and it instantly found infections. Norton in the future must be as crap as it is currently :D |

| 1234817 | 2011-10-03 21:59:00 | Best to look up some reviews and see what the experts think, In many cases peoples opinions are based on past experiences with software and not current. Bad experiences effect our opinions for much longer than good ones I think. I stopped using AVG when it starting making me dodge bloatware on install and starting getting poor reviews compared to MSE. Also I always hated how both AVG and Avast hide the links for the free version while making the paid ones big and obvious and forcing you to hunt for them once a year when your free subscription needed renewing. Because of this I haven't tried either of them in quite some time and couldn't comment objectively on their effectiveness. |

I know alot of people get tricked into the pay version when (annual) renewal comes around or get prompted they need the newer version Just how big is this AVG now. Has it hit the 100Mb mark yet (must be getting close) :banana :banana :banana |
