1236710 2011-10-11 03:10:00 Does anybody have anything to say about Kapersky internet security, it had a pretty good score in pc world PeterQ (16315)
1236711 2011-10-11 03:43:00 Does the job pretty well but IMO it's a bit heavy and a bit invasive. I'd recommend NOD32. wratterus (105)
1236712 2011-10-11 03:48:00 Dont get a security suite. They are often resource hogs & un-needed sales gimmicks
Just get a basic AV only.

Kaspersky is VERY good at virus detection, but I took it of my home PC as it slowed down the PC .
We use KAV(as well as Spyware scanners) at work to scan customers HD's . Very thorough, but takes a loooong time on max settings

1236714 2011-10-12 09:57:00 Microsoft Security Essentials is good for a free anti-virus. I trust it greatly.

I used to use Avast! but that has somewhat gone downhill since the emergence of MSE.
