| 1236491 | 2011-10-09 22:44:00 | HELP. Have been fighting this issue for over a week now. I cannot completely uninstall Omnipage 16, after a computer crash, and when I reinstall it tells me that I already have a version installed. I have used the Omnipage remove programme as recommended countless times, and have rebooted in safe mode and tried to edit all references to Scansoft or Omnipage out of the registry.I keep getting told by regedit Unable to delete all specified values I removed all registry keys that refer to Omnipage and/or Scansoft with CCleaner and they are still there when I reboot. NOT GOOD... :badpc: heeeeelp meeeeeeeeeee pleeeeeeeease. Linzi |

| 1236492 | 2011-10-09 22:53:00 | That unable to delete all specified values may mean you dont have permission to delete those entries. You'll have to right mouse on those entries in regedit / select permissions. Go to advanced / owner select / dbl click on your name. So it appears under owner name then tick replace owner on the bottom left, then OK. Then you have to click on your name under the main permissions window then tick everything under allow. Then you should be able to delete the entry / key. What version of windows is it? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
